Welcome to The Lin Link!

Hello Team Lin!

A NOTE FROM TERESA

“Thank you for everything you're doing to help reach voters across our district. Every door you knock on and every conversation you have helps us build a stronger campaign. Your contributions have an impact! I'm grateful for all you do and I’m enjoying being in it to win it with you.”

Welcome to our very first newsletter, we're so glad you're here! Whether you've been with us since Day 1 or just joined this week, thank you for stepping up to support Teresa and this campaign. Between now and Election Day, we'll send quick updates to keep you in the loop on what's happening, where you can plug in, and what's new.

First, meet the team. This is Jessica Comstra, our Assistant Campaign Manager and Volunteer Coordinator. Joining me are Alex Vanden Heuvel and Katie Rinderle from FTR, who are leading our field outreach efforts. Danielle Lin and Naydelin Chavero are leading the social media team.  We'll organize, cheer, and work alongside you every step of the way to elect Teresa as our next state representative.

— Jessica Comstra, Volunteer Coordinator and Campaign Assistant

The Road So Far.

Teresa is getting help from her daughter, Raleigh, with stuffing and addressing envelopes.

  • Our campaign kickoff party at Green Tile Coffee in Roswell was a huge success. We had a fantastic turnout and connected with many of you, most especially our generous hosts Lia Bertelson and Stephanie Clark. The room was packed and buzzing with excitement about flipping our district blue. Local elected officials Representative Lisa Campbell and Councilwoman Jennifer Phillippi came out to show their support, along with Representative Shea Roberts who gave a rousing speech reminding us why this race and this election cycle are truly so important. Thank you to all who joined the celebration.

  • Team Lin showed up to cheer on Tony Kozycki at his election night watch party.

  • Supporters gathered last week for our Coffee and a candidate meetup at Scooter’s Coffee.

  • Teresa spent time at the Capitol during the special session, making sure District 49's voice was part of the conversation on fair maps and fair elections. A stranger recognized her Lin for the Win t-shirt and called out to say hello. They'd received Teresa's handwritten letter and wanted her to know it, a small moment that made her whole day and a fun sign that the momentum is starting to show up in unexpected places.

Trailblazers: This Week's Big Wins.

  • Team Lin met at Hembree Park and canvassed the Arbor Creek neighborhood together, knocking 60 doors and having meaningful conversations along the way. Check out a few photos here and on GroupMe:
